76 Year old shoplifter caught returning stolen items in Liverpool.

Refund Exchange staff notified the loss prevention manager at a Liverpool department store that a high number of DVD players had been returned for a refund from the same address.
The returnee had receipts, the explanation that the elderly gentleman gave was that he was confused and didn’t understand the difference between a VHS and a DVD system.

The next time the gentleman’s postcode was given at the refund desk, RE system prompted security, who in turn , checked CCTV and noted that the gentleman hadn’t entered the store with the DVD system , but had merely stolen the system and headed straight for the Refund counter, and produced a counterfeit receipt.
